India has increased its financial contribution to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). India has increased its annual financial contribution five-fold to the agency's core budget, from one million dollars in 2016 to five million dollars in 2018. India is also committed to contribute five million dollars in 2019.
2. (b) Indonesia
The inaugural edition of Indian Navy -Indonesian Navy Bilateral Exercise ‘Samudra Shakti’ began on November 12, 2018 at Surabaya, Indonesia. The exercise will conclude on November 18, 2018. The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Rana of the Eastern Fleet based at Visakhapatnam under the Eastern Naval Command arrived at the port of Surabaya to participate in the exercise.

The 5th edition of World Buddhist Forum (WBF -2018) was recently held in Putian, the southeast Fujian Province of China. Over 1000 Buddhists, scholars and representatives from 55 countries and regions attended the forum.
4. (a) GSAT-29
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the modern communication satellite GSAT-29 onboard the rocket GSLV Mark-III on November 14, 2018. This would be the second development flight of the heavier launch vehicle GSLV Mark-III.

The Reserve Bank of India liberalised the norms governing foreign borrowings for infrastructure creation. The central bank said that the minimum average maturity requirement for the External Commercial Borrowings, ECBs in the infrastructure space raised by eligible borrowers has been reduced to 3 years from 5 years.

The 17th ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Council Meeting was held in Singapore as part of the 33rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summit Meetings. India and Morocco on November 12, 2018 signed an Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters in Delhi. The Agreement will strengthen bilateral cooperation with Morocco and enhance effectiveness and provide a broad legal framework for prevention, investigation and prosecution of crimes, as well as in tracing, restraint and confiscation of funds meant to finance terrorist acts.

(ISPRL) on November 12, 2018 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE to explore the possibility of storing ADNOC crude oil at ISPRL’s underground oil storage facility at Padur in Karnataka, which has a 2.5 million tonne capacity.

India’s Oscar winning musician, AR Rahman released his biography, ‘Notes of a Dream: The Authorized Biography of AR Rahman’, written by Krishna Trilok on November 3, 2018.
