CBSE 12th Result 2021-222: With every passing day, the wait for CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Result 2021-22 becomes more and more agonizing for the students. With nearly 3 months since the conduct of the CBSE 12th Board Exam 2022 in Nov-Dec 2022, the Board is yet to announce the Term 1 Results for Class 12 students. However, as pre-reports, CBSE 12th Class Results for the Term 1 Exams are likely to be announced soon, mostly in the next few days for all the students who had appeared for the exams. If media reports are to be believed, the CBSE 12th Results 2021-22 will be declared by the board online and the individual scorecards will be made available to the students via the website cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.

Will Term 1 Result be Out in Offline Mode?

As nearly 12 lakh students wait for the declaration of CBSE Term 1 Result 2021-22 for Class 12, several rumours and speculations have been doing the rounds about it. Among the key concerns that are bothering 12th Class 12 is the question if CBSE 12th Term 1 Results being declared in Offline Mode like it was done for Class 10? Earlier in the month, the CBSE 10th Result 2021-22 for Term 1 Exam were declared in a very unconventional manner i.e., in offline mode and directly to the respective schools as individual scores. This has put a doubt in minds of Class 12 students as well about the possible offline announcement of their results as well.

As of now, there is no clarity as to what course of action CBSE Plans to take in this regard, but details about the same are still awaited from the Board. However, looking at the time that the Board has taken to complete the result preparation process, it may look at the online declaration of results which will be available to the students directly. Until we hear from CBSE Officials about the Term 1 Class 12 Result Declaration process, students are advised to stay tuned to jagranjosh.com to receive the latest news and updates.

What is the Minimum Marks to Pass?

Another major concern that has been plaguing the minds of Class 12 students of the CBSE Board is about the Minimum passing marks required for the Term 1 Exam. According to the information released by the board so far, it will not be declaring any students as pass or fail in the term 1 examination. Instead, students will only be provided with their scores or marks secured by them in each subject as the result of CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022. This is because the board has bifurcated into two parts i.e., Term 1 and Term 2 Exams. Therefore, until the final exam i.e., term 2 is held, the Board will not declare any student as pass or failed merely on the basis of Term 1 Examination. The final result for CBSE 12th students will be declared after taking marks of both, Term 1 and Term 2 exams, into consideration.

However, looking at the issue from a different perspective of marks that one is required to score to clear the exam, the overall score required to clear the CBSE 12th Result 2022 remains 33%. And as the overall score of the exam is divided into two aspects, students need to score 33% or 17 marks in Term 1 Result 2022 to clear the exam. But, when the board declared Class 10 Results, it also notified that the weightage and marking scheme will be declared after the Term 2 Exam. The overall calculation of the final CBSE 12th Result 2021-22 will be done after taking into consideration the Term 1 and Term 2 Results as well practical exams and internal assessment. Therefore, students will have to wait until the CBSE 12th Result 2022 is declared to get a better idea about the assessment mode and evaluation matrix for final results.
