CUET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) Chief M Jagadesh Kumar clarified that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2024) Exam for undergraduate programmes will be held as per the original schedule. The CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted from May 15 to May 31, 2024.
The clarification comes after speculations about the postponement of the exam due to Lok Sabha elections. As per the recent announcement, two of the exam dates will overlap with the election dates on May 20 and May 25, 2024. The NTA Chief, however, stated that the final date sheet will be prepared after the registration process ends.
NTA will conduct CUET-UG, as announced earlier, between May 15 and May 31, 2024. In this period, two dates overlap with the election dates on 20 and 25 May.

The CUET UG 2024 Exam is expected to be conducted in a hybrid mode to allow students from rural areas to participate. Nearly 250 universities have participated in the CUET UG 2024 exam and will offer admission to various undergraduate courses through the score obtained in the entrance exam. CUET UG 2024: Application Fee
Candidates can choose up to 3 subjects while filling out the CUET UG 2024 application form. Those belonging to the general category are required to pay Rs 1000 as the registration fee. Meanwhile, NCL/EWS candidates have to pay Rs 900 and SC/ST/PwBD/third-gender candidates must pay Rs 800 as the application fee.
