GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has published the GATE 2025 official brochure with all the required details of the GATE exams. This year, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is being held in February 2025. Candidates can check their exam timing, and the complete schedule for the exams here.
The GATE 2025 registration window will open on August 24, 2024. Students can complete the registrations by September 26, 2024. Officials will also be providing an extended window for students to register. The last date to register for GATE 2025 in the extended period is October 7, 2024.

GATE 2025 Application Fee
GATE 2025 application fee has to be submitted in the online mode. Students can submit the fee via credit/ debit cards or net banking and UPI facilities. The category-wise GATE fee details are given below

GATE Exams 2025
The GATE 2025 exams will be held for 3 hours. The exam will have 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. Students can enter their exam hall 40 minutes before the commencement of the exams and login to start reading the instructions 20 minutes before the exams. Candidates will not be permitted to login 30 minutes after the commencement of the exams.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
GATE 2025 will be held for a total of 30 test papers. All questions will be of objective type. The test papers will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). Each Multiple-choice question will carry 1 or 2 marks each in all papers and sections. Negative marking applicable for 1 marks questions will be ⅓ and for 2 mark questions will be ⅔.

GATE 2025 Result and Scorecard
GATE 2025 results will be announced online shortly after the exams are conducted. After the declaration of results, the GATE 2025 scorecard will be available for download from March 28 to May 31, 2025. Students are advised to keep the soft copy of the GATE 2025 scorecard with them for admission and counselling purposes
