Goa SSC, HSSC Board Exam 2021 Dates: As per the latest media reports, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced that the Goa Board 10th and 12th Board Exam 2021 will be held in April – May 2021. As per a PTI Report, Pramod Sawant-led Goa government has decided to hold Goa Board Class 10 and 12 exams 2021 in April May. The Board has also confirmed that detailed subject-wise date sheet or timetable for SSC i.e. Class 10 and HSSC i.e. Class 12 Exams will be released on 15th January 2021. The news comes across as a major relief for students, who have been waiting for some clarity or update about the holding of the Board Exams. For 2021 session, the upcoming Board Exams have been postponed or delayed by a majority of the boards owing to the pandemic and the threat that it poses.

News Confirmed by Board’s Chairman

To ensure there is no confusion or disconnect about the GBSHSE among the Goa SSC Exam 2021 and Goa HSSC Exam 2021, the Board Chairman Ramakrishna Samant told reporters that the state government has approved the proposal to conduct the Goa Board Class 10, 12 exams 2021 in April and May next year. Sharing tentative timelines, Mr Samant added that Class 12 Practical Exams for HSSC students would be held in April, followed by theory exams being held in May 2021.

Tentative Dates / Timelines for Board Exams

Along with confirming the news, GBSHSE Chairman also confirmed the tentative timelines for practical as well as theory exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. As confirmed by Mr Samant, the practical exams for HSSC / Class 12 students would be held between 1^st and 24^th April 2021, followed by the written exam being held from 26^th April to 15^th May 2021. On similar lines, practical exams for SSC / Class 10 students will start from 5^th to 30^th April 2021 and written exam from 13^th to 31^st May 2021.
