JEE Main Result 2020 Released: The National Testing Agency released JEE Main 2020 results on 17th January. The result of JEE Main 2020 has been released for all the candidates who appeared for Paper 1 of the entrance exam. Candidates can check their JEE MAIN result 2020 and download their scorecards by visiting the official website. JEE Main Result Declared in Record Time

For this year, NTA has managed to declare JEE Main Result 2020 in record time. The feat was achieved by the apex testing agency this year by declaring the JEE Main Result 2020 in mere 8 days after the completion of the exam on 9th January 2020. The exam was held from January 6 to 9, in shifts, for more than 11 lakh candidates.

9 Candidates Score 100 Percentile

Press Trust of India has reported that a total of 9 candidates have secured 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2020 Result declared today. Among the JEE Main 2020 Toppers, one candidate is from Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana, while two candidates each are from Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana. From Delhi Nishant Agarwal has topped JEE Main examination with 100 percentile score.

JEE Main Result 2020 for B.Arch / B.Planning Later
According to media reports, NTA has only declared JEE Main Result 2020 for BE and B.Tech candidates i.e. core engineering aspirants. However, JEE Main Exam is also held to screen candidates for B.Arch and B.Planning programmes through Paper 2. However, reports indicate that JEE Main Result for Paper 2 i.e. for B.Arch and B.Planning programmes will be declared by NTA later on. Currently, NTA has not declared by specific date or time by when the results for B.Arch / B.Planning will be announced by the agency.

How to check JEE Main Result 2020 online?

Like all other exams conducted by NTA, JEE Main Result 2020 has also been declared by the apex testing agency online on its official exam portal i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can follow the simple step-wise process listed below to check result and download the JEE Main Scorecard 2020 online.

• Step 1: Visit official exam portal i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: Find and Click on Link for View / Download Scorecard
• Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page with input fields
• Step 4: Enter your application number in designated field
• Step 5: Select your Date of Birth using the drop down menu
• Step 6: Enter the Security Pin Provided on the page
• Step 7: Click on Submit Button and your JEE Main Scorecard will be displayed on the screen
• Step 8: Download scorecard in PDF softcopy format
• Step 9: Take printout for future reference

Candidates downloading JEE Main 2020 scorecard must note the result has been declared in terms of percentile. Percentile score showcases the relative performance of a candidate against all those who have appeared for the exam. Simply put, it transforms the score into a scale range from 100 to 0.
