Kerala University has invited applicants for PG entrance examination for admission to various postgraduate programmes. The last date of application is April 2. In order to apply for Kerala University PG entrance exam, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in respective discipline with the required percentage of marks as set by the university. There will be relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. Students appearing for the final year exams can also apply for the exam provided they are able to submit the required documents at the time of admission. The merit list of eligible candidates will be announced on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination.
The entrance examination will be held from May 19 to May 24, and there would be two exam centers in Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates need to visit the official website of Kerala University in order to download the prospectus and fill the application form. The university has been recently re-accredited by NAAC with A Grade.
The courses offered by the Kerala University at PG levels include MA in English, Arabic, Russian, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, Tamil, Islamic History, West Asian Studies, Music, Archaeology and Public Administration. At science level, it offers MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Aquatic, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Fisheries, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Physics, Actuarial Science and Data Science. M.Tech in Computer Science along-with MBA, MCJ, MSW, MLISc, LLM, MEd and M.Com courses are also offered by the university.
