UCEED 2019: Official prospectus released at uceed.iitb.ac.in, exam to be held on January 19

The UCEED officials have announced the detailed information brochure for UCEED 2019. With the announcement of detailed brochure and information available the students can check their eligibility and plan their preparation strategy according to the exam pattern. Earlier, the officials had announced the dates of the examination. The application process for UCEED 2019 will begin on October 9, 2018. UCEED is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design program at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

According to the detailed brochure released the candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994 if belonging to the General or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1989 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2018, Or appearing in 2019. Students from all stream (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible for this course. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are not eligible.

The candidates who are preparing for the examination must note that the a candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. UCEED scores are also valid for only year and can be used for admission in the same academic year as the exam was taken.

According to the schedule released, the UCEED examination will be held on January 19, 2019 and the results will be out on 1st March 2019. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design program at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. The candidates must note that the registration of the UCEED will start from October 9, 2018 and the window for the registration will remain open till November 9, 2018.

Registration with late fee: November 10 to November 16, 2018
Admit card download: January 1, 2019, onwards
Exam date: January 19, 2019
Result declaration: March 1, 2019
