The Uttar Pradesh D.EL.ED (Diploma in Elementary Education) first-semester examination result has been declared at updeledinfo.in. According to the reports, a total of 1,91,111 trainees were registered for the examination of which 1,89,938 have appeared for it. As many as 1,41,902 (74.25 per cent) have successfully passed the exam. The Diploma in Elementary Education is a two-year professional mandatory course for all those aspirants who wish to teach in government aided and private colleges and institutions in the Uttar Pradesh. This diploma course is pre-requisite training course to be able to teach from Class 1 to Class 8.

Around 1.41 lakh candidates passed successfully in the examination. The first-semester examination was held from 1st to 3rd May 2018. According to official reports, 191111 trainees were registered for the examination, out of which 189938 appeared. Of these, 141902 (74.25 percent) passed the exam successfully. About 47199 trainees could not pass the first-semester exam. The result of 835 trainees was incomplete. All the aspirants can check the result on the official website.

The Uttar Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education (UP D.EL.Ed) is a two-year teacher training programme conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The main purpose of the exam is to select professionals who can do roles like teachers, assistant teachers, student counsellors and tutors. The assessment of UP BTC exam is done in four semesters. It aims at preparing or providing training to the teachers for class I to VIII. The primary motive behind this is to eradicate the social and gender discrimination while fulfilling the basic need of education for each and every child.
