KCET 2015
Entrance Exam is conducted by the Karnataka University for the candidates those who are interested for the admission in medical, engineering and dental professional undergraduate programs. This is a state level exam conducted in Karnataka and all the candidates those who fulfill for KCET Exam 2015 the eligibility criteria can give the exam at the various centres available.
KCET 2015 Selection Procedure:
The selection will be on the basis of their performance in KCET 2015 Exam and out of them the short-listed candidates will be allowed to attend the KCET 2015 Counselling in which the seat will be allotted to them on the basis of their score in KCET 2015 Exam.
KCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by KCET2015 for attending the KCET 2015 Exam. Candidates must have completed XII class with maths and physics as compulsory subjects and Bio-technology / Electronics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology as optional subject or equivalent examination with minimum of 45% marks. All the subject must have been studied by the candidates in English language.
KCET 2015 Exam Pattern:
The KCET 2015 Entrance Exam will be consisting of three sections in total. All the question asked in the exam will be only from three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. There will be a total of 180 questions asked in the exam. Each section will be of 60 marks each and the timing for each section will be 80 minutes. The candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer and no negative marking will be done for any incorrect or multiple marked answer.
KCET 2015 Counselling:
The candidates have to register themselves for KCET 2015 Counselling once the result has been declared. The counselling process will take two rounds for completion. The candidates those who have qualified in KCET 2015 can attend the counselling with all the required documents and score card. Candidates will be allotted seat in according to their preferences for courses, colleges and availability. Candidates must confirm their seat allotted in KCET 2015 Counselling by paying the fees.
KCET 2015 Result:
The candidates those who have given the KCET 2015 Exam will be selected on the basis of their score in the result. Therefore the candidates can check their KCET 2015 Result on the official website on May 2015.

KCET 2015 Time Table & Scheme:
KCET 2015 exam pattern explains the marking scheme, number of questions, and other relevant details that a candidate must know before attempting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Examination pattern of KCET 2015 shall be as determined by the Karnataka Examination Authority, and will be different for each question paper. Based on the course (Engg., Medical, Ayurveda, Pharmacy), candidate will have to attempt physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics papers in the KCET 2015 exam.
In order to obtain admission to any of the professional courses through KEA, a candidate must appear for the Common Entrance Test, which will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore. The Common Entrance Test 2015 will be conducted at various test centers. Key highlights of the KCET 2015 exam pattern is given below.

Minimum of 50% marks in Practical Examination is required to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota. Further, Agriculturist Quota is applicable only for Under Graduate courses detailed in Para 2 (5 and 6) above. Practical Examination will be conducted at Bangalore, Hassan, Mandya, Raichur, Mysore, Munirabad (Koppal District), Arabhavai (Gokak Tq), Tamaka (Kolar District), Mangalore, Bidar, Bagalkot, Dhanrvad and Shimoga.
MBBS aspirants must score at least 50% marks in the KCET 2015 Medical Entrance exam in order to qualify. In case of SC, ST, and Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 40%.

KCET 2015 Application Form
Before applying, you must ensure that you fulfill the eligibility criteria for your respective course. The information regarding eligibility criteria of KCET 2015 is extensive, and defined in details in the information brochure. Following are some key points regarding being eligible for Karnataka CET
- Candidate who has obtained seat in any discipline through KEA CET in any of previous years shall not be eligible to continue in the course to which he / she has been admitted during previous years immediately upon selection of a seat in any different discipline during the current year.
- For KCET 2015 Engineering entrance exam, candidate must have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics as compulsory subjects. He / she must have one of them as optional subjects – Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics, Computer Science and English as one of the languages of study. Also, candidate should have obtained aggregate minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, OBC) in aggregate.
- For KCET 2015 Medical entrance exam, in the qualifying examination, that candidate must have obtained at least 50% (40% for SC, ST, OBC) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
