Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme for 2015-16 Batches

    The Aga Khan Foundation launched 2015-2016 International Scholarship Programme for students pursuing PG or PhD programme internationally.

    The Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships for students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to prepare them for employment.

    The main criteria for selecting scholarship competitors are: consistently excellent academic records, genuine financial need, and admission to a highly reputable university.

    Candidates are also evaluated on demonstrating thoughtful and coherent educational and career plans, their extra-curricular interests and achievements, potential to achieve their goals and likelihood to succeed in a foreign academic environment. Applicants are expected to have some years of work experience in their field of interest.

    The Foundation assists students with tuition fees and living expenses only. Preference is given to students under 30 years of age.

    Selection of applicants will be based on Interview by local Scholarship Committees about their financial situation, their academic performance, extra-curricular achievements and career plans. Applications and Interview reports of shortlisted candidates are sent to Geneva for the final selection.

    Students can avail applications for the 2015-16 academic year from January 2015. Students may obtain in their countries of current residence. The deadline for submission of entire completed applications is March 31.
