Can I give any Bank Exam after passing 12th?

Passing out from school is a crucial time for any student’s life. They tend to look out for future opportunities and preferred career path at this juncture of their lives. Banking is certainly one of the preferred choices among them.

Passing out from school is a crucial time for any student’s life. They tend to look out for future opportunities and preferred career path at this juncture of their lives. Banking is certainly one of the preferred choices among them. Many candidates from over the country try to get into this sector due to its promise of good career in the long run, good salary package and job stability factors. For the last 5 to 10 years banking sector has blossomed in the country and recruitments have increased in manifold. Thus there is a huge rush of candidates trying to join the industry and appearing for competitive examinations conducted by various recruitment bodies associated with bank recruitment in the country.

Know the Eligibility: Initially class 12th passed candidates got chance to apply for the recruitment examinations conducted by bodies like IBPS, SBI and RRB for clerical cadre posts in the various nationalized banks over the nation. But now the posts could only be taken by those candidates who have undergone successfully their Graduation course and have passed their Degree course from any recognized university/institute. Hence, those candidates who have just got out from their schools having 10+2 degrees would need to buckle up their shoes for further studies in order to join the banking sector in future.

Identify the opportunities: Although, candidates having interest in banking sector can also apply for the assistant level and data entry jobs in various banks after passing their 12th grade examination. There are opportunities with security of the banks and ATMs through a third party banking agency to get into banking sector as well. Marketing and sales is another area where the fresh 12th pass students can try their luck. With adequate experience in the filed concerned the candidates can even rose into ranks. They would be able to draw employment benefits like any other banking official in the banks during their service.

Prepare for Bank Exams: Though there are opportunities to join banking sector after passing class 12th examination, it is advisable to invest a little more time into preparation and enter into the field after the candidates complete their Graduation. That would provide adequate support to the candidates to further rise up in the ranks through various in-house banking promotion examinations as well. This would also make sure that the candidates get the most sought after ‘job security’ from their respective jobs and earn the suitable position that they seem fit for their credentials.
