Central Industrial Security Force Recruitment of Constables/GD (Male & Female) 2012

The Central Industrial Security Force was established on 15 June 1983 in its present armed form. It is a Central Armed Police Force in India under Act of the Parliament of India. It invites eligible Indian candidates for the temporary posts of Constable/GD (Male & Female) for the year 2012 in the state of Jammu & Kashmir (Udhampur, Baramulla and Doda) through rally system from 15 March 2012 to 31 March 2012

Date for registration in Jammu & Kashmir (Udhampur, Baramulla and Doda): 15 March 2012 to 31 March 2012 (except on Sundays)

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment to the post of Constables in CISF

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10^th passed from any recognized Board/ University

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2012: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 23 years

Pay Scale: Rs 5200 - 20200; Grade Pay Rs 2000 per month

Selection Procedure for recruitment to the post of Constables in CISF

The candidate's overall performance during each test will be judged for the final recruitment. The candidates will have to undergo the following recruitment tests

• Physical Standards Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Written Test (100 marks)

a)      General awareness/General knowledge

b)      Elementary Mathematics

c)      Analytical Aptitude

d)     Hindi/ English

• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Candidates who fulfill the eligible criteria and wish to apply for the post of Constable in CISF may report at the recruitment centers for further stages of recruitment.
