Central University of Bihar Notified Recruitment for 48 Faculty Posts

Central University of Bihar (CUB) issued recruitment notification for 48 faculty positions at the levels of Professor and of Associate Professor in various Departments/Centres and of Assistant Professor in Computer Science on regular basis. Interested eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed format till 30 November 2012.

Educational Qualification: As per UGC regulations, 2010

Application Fee: General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 1000 and International Candidates need to pay USD 25, as application fee, through a Bank Challan downloaded from the website. The payment must be made at Punjab National Bank, Raja Bazar, Patna, IFS Code No: PUNB0445800 / Swift Code No: PUNBINBBDIB (For US Dollar) and the Challan should be in the name of Central University of Bihar Recruitment, a/c no. 4458005500000287, Institute Id : CUBP Collection Code: CUBP .

[SC/ST/PWD and female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.]

Pay Scale:
For Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.10000
For Associate Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.9000
For Assistant Professor: Rs.15600-39100 + GP Rs.6000

Selection Process:
Final selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ previous record and their performance in the Interview.

How to Apply:
Application in the prescribed format along with original Bank Challan of CUB Copy and Copies of all relevant certificates, should be sent to “The Registrar, Central University of Bihar, Camp Office: BIT Campus Patna, P.O. – B.V. College, Patna – 800014” so as to reach the office on or before 30 November 2012 through speed post/registered post only.
The name of the post to be applied for should be super-scribed on the envelope.

Note:
Separate Application Form along with Bank Challan and enclosures has to be submitted for each
post, in case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post.
Interested applicants already employed under the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 or on identical pension scheme before 01 January 2004 may be considered for long term deputation.
Superannuated teachers may be considered for reemployment on contract basis up to the age of 70 years.
