CSIR NET June 2026 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for Joint CSIR UGC NET Notification 2026 for the June cycle on its official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The CSIR NET 2026 exam is one of the most crucial and much awaited exams which determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor in Science and Technology for different Universities across the country. As per the detailed notification released, the written exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on 17th & 18 July, 2026 across the country.

How to Apply for CSIR UGC NET June 2026?

Interested and candidates can directly visit the official website to apply online or follow the simple steps to apply online

• Visit the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on "Joint CSIR-UGC NET Registration Open (Click Here)".
• Register for Online Form submission using a unique Email ID and Mobile No.
• Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application No. to the link. 
• Now upload the required documents to the link as mentioned in the notification pdf. 
• Pay the prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card and UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference
• Download, save and print copies of the Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference.

CSIR UGC NET JRF Stipend 2026

The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR- National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000/- is reimbursed directly to the fellow. The Fellowship will be governed by terms and conditions of CSIR, UGC or Research Scheme, as applicable.

CSIR UGC NET June Admit Card 2026

The candidate applied successfully for the exam will be able to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing and Examination as indicated in their Admit Card.
