Directorate of Education, Delhi has recently issued a notice for guest teacher vacancy in Delhi 2017-18. Guest Teachers will be hired for academic year 2017-18 for various Delhi Government Schools soon.
As per reports, 9500 Guest teachers will be hired for 326 schools that fall under Directorate of Education of New Delhi. With this hiring, the number of Guest Teacher will increase to 25,000. The recruitment of the teachers will be conducted district wise.
The recruitment of these Guest teachers will be solely for Delhi Government Schools. After guest teacher vacancy in delhi govt. school will be hired, the waiting list of qualified candidates will be made. The placement will be made as per requirement in schools serving under Directorate of Education, GNCTD.
Posts to be Filled
The posts to be filled up under Guest teacher vacancy in delhi govt. school are of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT/Lecturer), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Misc teachers (for Physical Education, Drawing, Music, Domestic Science & Special Education Teacher).
Consolidated Salary
The salary of Guest Teachers in Delhi government schools has seen an upsurge in recent time. The salaries have gone up from Rs 21,000 to Rs 34,000, from Rs 18,000 to Rs 33,000 and from Rs 16,000 to Rs 32,000 a month.
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should be CTET qualified to apply for the TGT vacancy. This qualification is not essential for Misc Teachers for Physical Education, Drawing, Music, Domestic Science & Special Education Teacher. Candidates who will apply for PGT post should be below age limit of 36 years. For TGT, the age limit to apply is 30 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. SC, ST, OBC and Disabled candidates are exempted from this.
