The first cut-off list of Delhi University had surprised the students as even the best among the lot struggled to get a college and course of their choice. However, as the colleges released the second list late evening on 20 June 2011, the ray of hope emanated for students who were worried as admissions are still open to some popular courses. And surprisingly, North Campus colleges have seats to offer as well. Students satisfying minimum cut off marks can take admission June 22 to June 25 (both dates included).
SRCC has already filled its seats for BCom (Hons) and economics programmes. However, colleges including Sri Venkateswara College, SGTB Khalsa College, Kirori Mal College, Gargi College and Lady Shri Ram College are still open for admission to the popular commerce programmes.
Delhi University had done away with the centralised application forms this year and had asked colleges to fix their own cut offs based on this years Class XII results and previous cut off trends. The condition is that every student who makes the cut will have to be admitted by the college.
