Name of the Post – Skilled Craftsman

Eligibility Criteria – 8th pass from a recognized Board

Custom Department

Custom Department has lots of vacancies for 8th pass candidates such as grasser, senior deckhand etc. Let’s know about the posts and their eligibility criteria.

Senior Deck Hand

Educational Qualification: 8th pass and a Certificate of Fishery Training School is required.
Experience: 05 Years of Experience on Sea Going Vessel.
Age Limit – 18 to 30 years

Sukhani

Educational Qualification: The candidate should be at least 8th pass from a recognized board and should have a Competency certificate for inland Master 2nd Class

Experience – Minimum 5 years of experience is required on Sea Going Vessel.

Age Limit – 18 to 30 years

Selection Criteria for Custom Department

The selection of candidate is based on written and swimming test. In the swimming test, the candidate has to jump by boat and cross the 100 meter distance. The medical fitness test is also done after passing the swimming test.

Police Department

Name of the Post – Driver and Constable

Age Limit – 18 to 23 years

Physical Eligibility

  • Length (Male) – 168 Centimeters
  • Chest – 81 cm to 86 cm
  • Length (Female) – 152 cm
