Purpose: To conduct an all India examination to select candidates for admission to the postgraduate programmes in technology in the lITs and IIS.
Cost of Form: Rs. 800 (Online); Rs. 1,000 (Offline)
Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Architecture (4 years after Class 12) or those who are in the final/pre-final year of such programmes or a Master's degree in any branch of Science, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Statistics or equivalent.

Selection Process:
Duration of Paper: 3 hours
No. of Questions: 65 (carrying a maximum of 100 marks)
Type of Questions: Objective type questions
Based on the test (70% weight-age) and the candidate’s academic record and interview (30% weight-age maximum); the selection of candidates takes place.
