IBPS RRB Clerk Cutoff 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) releases the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) cutoff after the selection process gets over. Those who obtain a score higher than or equal to the cutoff will be invited to take part in the next exam phase. The cutoff is decided based on several factors, such as number of vacancy, difficulty level of paper, marks scored after normalisation, number of candidates who appeared in the examination, etc.

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks decided by the recruitment body which candidates need to score in order to be eligible for next phase of examination. IBPS conducts the clerk examination into phases, i.e., prelims and main. IBPS will release the minimum qualifying marks category wise and state wise. IBPS RRB Clerk Cut off Marks 2024: Deciding Factors
Various factors contribute to the IBPS RRB Clerk Cutoff marks for all the categories. Some of the factors affecting the minimum qualifying marks are as follows:
Number of Applicants: The number of candidates appearing in the written exam determines the IBPS RRB Clerk Cutoff Marks. If the number of candidates is high, the overall competition cutoff marks will decrease.
Vacancies: The overall vacancies are considered when deciding the IBPS RRB Clerk Cut off marks. If the vacancies are less, the cutoff marks will also be less, and vice-versa.
Difficulty level: The questions asked in the written exam also determine the minimum qualifying marks. If the nature of the questions were difficult, the Cut off marks would also be low, and vice-versa.
Candidate’s Performance: The marks secured in the exam also determine the Cut off marks. If the majority of aspirants perform well in the written exam, the Cut off marks will also be high.
