ICMR National Institute of Virology (NIV) Recruitment 2021 Recruitment 2021: ICMR National Institute of Virology (NIV) invited applications from eligible persons for recruitment of 41 posts of Contract Laboratory Support and Admin Support posts. Interested and eligible persons can apply for the posts online by visiting the official website of ICMR National Institute of Virology (NIV). Persons must note that the last date for application is 01 June 2021.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format attached herewith for the following temporary contract positions at ICMR-NIV Pune for COVID-19 related activities. The applications in the standard format should reach us through e-mail on recruitmentniv2021@gmail.com.
The applications without enclosures in the standard format should reach the above e-mail ID up to 05:00 PM on 01 June 2021. The relevant documents should not be attached at this stage. The appointment to the respective contract posts will be initially up to 31st July 2021 of which may be further extended as per requirement (or the decision of ICMR, Headquarters) if any on case to case basis.

| Contract Laboratory Support-III | Graduate in Life Science* Subjects relevant to the present need, with five years work experience or Postgraduate Degree in those subjects. Age Limit: 30 years. |
| Contract Scientific Support-I | 1st Class Master’s Degree in Life Science subjects relevant to the present need, with two years works experience or Master’s Degree in those subjects or 2nd class Postgraduate Degree in those subjects with Ph.D. in relevant subjects. Age Limit: 35 years. |
| Contract Scientific Support-II | MBBS with one year experience or MD in Microbiology, PSM or Pathology. Age Limit: 35 years. |

How to Apply
Interested and eligible persons can apply for the posts online by visiting the official website of ICMR National Institute of Virology (NIV). Persons must note that the last date for application is 01 June 2021. Candidates meeting the age criteria and possessing the required qualifications, experience, etc. and willing to work for COVID-19 related activities may apply and fill the Application Form in the prescribed format only and send it to the email ID on or before the last date and time of receipt of applications as mentioned above without any enclosures. There is no need to send hard-copy of any application form/documents at this stage. Candidate should type “Application for the post of _________________” in the subject line while sending their application through e-mail. Candidates applying for more than one post should SEPARATELY apply for each post. Failing to do so, the application/s will be rejected. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the website of ICMR-NIV and these candidates will be called for interview/personal discussion (online). Keeping in view of the various precautions and non availability of Transport Services due to COVID-19, the interview/personal discussion will be conducted through Skype/video call only. Details will be published on ‘www.niv.co.in’. Late and incomplete applications or applications not submitted in the prescribed format or without photo and signature will not be considered.
