IIT Kharagpur JoSAA 2026 Round 2 Cutoff: All Courses Opening and Closing Rank

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has published JEE Advanced Round 2 opening and closing ranks for Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT KGP) on June 30, 2026. Candidates can check the branch wise Round 2 cutoff for open category. The JEE Advanced Round 2 data shows the opening and closing ranks of all B.Tech courses.
The opening rank refers to the rank of the first candidate who got admission into the specific course whereas, closing rank is the rank of the last admitted student in that round. The ranks help candidates estimate their selection possibilities and understand the competition level across branches.

Candidates who secured seats in Round 2 must complete the online reporting process and choose one of the three options according to their preference.
- Freeze: If they accept the allotted seat and exit the counselling process.
- Float: If they accept the current allotted seat and but want to be considered for a better branch in any institute in later rounds.
- Slide: If they accept the allotted seat but want a better branch within the same institute.
Candidates targeting a better branch or institute should keep participating in the further JoSAA rounds.
