Indian Army Recruitment of Pre Final Year Engineering Students 2011

Applications are invited from UNMARRIED male Engineering Degree Students studying in pre Final year (III year) in academic session 2011-2012 for grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Candidates in final year in 2011-2012 can exercise their option for the following courses: -

• TGC- 115 (July 2012)
• SSC (T) – 39 (October 2012)
• Unmarried female candidates studying in final year can exercise their option for SSCW (T) – 10 only (October 2012)

Total vacancies: 60 (Only for UES (University Entrance Scheme))

Educational Qualification

Candidates studying in the Pre-Final Year of the Engineering Degree Course in recognised universities/ Institutions/ Colleges in the subject mentioned below will be eligible to apply:

Age limit

Pre Final Year Candidates

22 UES (Pre Final Year) – between 18 years and 24 years

Pre Final Year Candidates

• 115 TGC (July 2012) – between 20 years and 27 years
• 39 SSS (Tech) Men – between 20 years and 27 years
• 10 SSC Women (Tech) – between 20 years and 27 years

Selection Procedure

1. Sending of Application forms to respective Command Headquarters
2. Screening of prospective candidates
3. SSB interview
   
   i) Psychological Test
   
   ii) Group Test
   
   iii) Interviews
4. Medical Exam
5. Final Merit List

How to Apply

1. Apply on plain paper (size 30 x 20 cms) as per format given on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
2. The envelope (white envelope) containing the application should be SUPER SCRIBED in Red Ink indicating clearly the branch of Engineering applied for. For example 'Applications For 20 UES Entry; Mechanical Engineering.'
