Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar issued notification inviting applications for appointment of Engineers (Executive & Assistant) on Deputation basis. Interested qualified engineers in service of Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies should send their applications to the Institute on or before 14 March 2014.

1. Executive Engineer (Civil): 1 post
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 1 post
Eligibility Conditions: Interested qualified engineers in service of Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies are eligible to apply.
Candidate applying for a post must be in the same/ similar cadre of the parent organization for which they are applying
However, those of next lower cadre with outstanding qualification/ work experience can apply for higher post.
Experience required: adequate experience in construction of large building projects
Selection Procedure: Appointment will be done on deputation basis, initially for a period of two years.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of qualification and quality of relevant experience, will be called for presentation/ Interview.
Travel allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview shall be reimbursed travel expenses from place of residence to Ahmedabad and back, as per instruction in the call letter, on production of proof of booking.
How to Apply: Interested qualified engineers should forward their applications, in the prescribed format, along with all the particulars through appropriate authority so as to reach ‘The Deputy Registrar of the Institute’ on or before 14 March, 2014.
