Indian Navy Group C Recruitment 2025: The Indian Navy has published a new notification for the recruitment of Group C Posts. The notification is published on the employment newspaper dated 08 March to 14 March. The recruitment will be done for 327 vacancies for the post of Syrang of Lascars, Lascar -I, Fireman and Topass. Selected candidates will have to serve in the units under administrative control of Headquarters, Western Naval Command Mumbai.
Candidates will be required to apply on the official website of Indian Navy, which is joinindiannavy.gov.in. The online application link will be available from 12 March. The last date for submitting the application is 01 April.

Indian Navy Group C Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:
- Syrang of Lascars:10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. Syrang Certificate granted under Inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. Two years’ experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horse power.
- Lascar-l: 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. Knowledge of swimming. One-year experience on a registered vessel.
- Fireman (Boat Crew): 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board. Knowledge of swimming.
- Certificate of having completed a pre-sea training course.
- Topass: 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board.Knowledge of swimming.
