India Post Payments Bank conducted the mains examination for the posts of Assistant Manager (Territory) on the 29th of January 2017 all over the country for 650 posts. The bank has already got the necessary approval from Reserve Bank of India for starting the payment bank as the 3rd such entity after Bharti Airtel and Paytm. The exam was attended by a lot of students and everybody is looking forward to results of the examination.
IPPB PO Mains Exam 2017: Examination Pattern
The examination pattern for the examination was as follows:

The pattern of the examination was similar to the IBPS PO mains examination and the SBI PO Mains examination held in 2016. Most of the candidates are now acquainted with the section wise timing introduced last year in SBI PO Mains examination.
English Language: Analysis and Expected Cut off
Once again, this section proved to be the most difficult one for most of the candidates. It has been a trend on the part of the IBPS these days that the English section is made very difficult for most of the candidates and you need fundamental knowledge of English to clear even the sectional cut off in any IBPS conducted examination these days.

Quantitative Aptitude: Analysis and Expected Cut off
This section was as usual lengthy and calculative and at the same time, you need to be very prompt to score well in this section. It has now become difficult to score in this section if you do not have much practice before the examination. The pattern of this section was as follows:

The questions on Reasoning Ability had a number of questions on time consuming puzzles and seating arrangement. You need to be well versed with the pattern in order to score well in this section. Only continuous practice can help you to score well in this section. The pattern of questions was as follows:

General Awareness: Analysis and Expected Cut Off
The General Awareness section in this examination was very conventional in nature and you were required to be very well conversant with the current banking terms and news. The questions were mainly from banking awareness and current affairs though static GK questions were also asked. You were expected to know about the organization you are going to join i.e. India Post Payments Bank as around 10 questions were there from this topic.

This section was a bit on the difficult side as questions were not very common ones. You needed to have good command over basics as well as MS Office in order to score well. At the end of the article, the main concern among the most of you is regarding the overall cut off for the examination. The cut off predicted by us is based on the following factors:
