There are 626 functional Jawahar NavodayaVidyalayas spread over 28 States and 07 UTs, except in the state of Tamil Nadu, which is inviting applications for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, that offers almost free of cost education post class 8 to students who have studied in government or government affiliated schools.

Last date to submit the application form is April 05, 2018. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, candidates need to go through the below mentioned procedure:
Eligibility
- Students who have cleared their class 8 and born between May 01, 2002 to April 30, 2006 can appear for this examination.
- Students whose parents are government employees need to give nominal fee of INR 1500 p.m. and NC-OBC candidates need to pay INR 600 p.m. to avail the benefits.
- Students belonging to reservation category are exempted from every kind of expense.
Scholarship Reward
The selected scholar will get every facility including books, uniforms, lodgings and other benefits free of cost.
Miscellaneous Details:
The test will be 100 marks on the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hind; with difficulty level of class 8. The medium of language for the examination is English or Hindi.
