JoSAA 2019 Counselling Dates are announced & successful candidates can now visit on the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in. The seat allotment process for admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs and Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will be done through the online counselling process conducted by JoSSA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). JEE Advanced 2019 Result is now available online at jeeadv.ac.in and the online counselling process is expected to begin from next week. JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment Process:
Step I: Registration & Online Choice filling - Students participating in the JoSAA seat allotment process are required to visit official website to fill their basic details such as gender, state code of eligibility and nationality etc while doing registration. They will also need to fill choices for courses/branches of engineering and Institutes from the list (will be provided along with JoSAA registration form only).
Step II: Mock Seat Allotment - JoSAA might publish 2 mock seat allotment lists as per the choices filled by the students.
Step III: Seat Allotment rounds - As soon as the registration and choice-filling process will get complete, JoSAA will release the first seat allotment list. In the same way, there might be six more rounds of seat allotment. The students will be issued seat allotment letter and e-challan for seat acceptance. To confirm a seat, students need to visit the allotted reporting centres.
Step IV: Document verification & Admission Fee Payment - In order to accept the allotted seat, students will be required to visit the reporting centres and get their documents verified and pay the admission fee.
