Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) has begun Class 9^th and Class 11^th School Admissions for 2018-19 academic sessions. Students who wish to take admission in Class 9^th or Class 11^th at JMI Schools can apply in online mode before the last date of application. Eligibility Criteria for JMI School Admissions 2018

For Class 9^th

• Students need to have a passing certificate of previous class i.e. Class 8^th qualifying exam for admission to Class 9^th
• Students need to have overall 41% or grade C2 in the aggregate of all subjects as well as 41% or grade C2 separately in English subject

For Class 11^th for all streams -

• Students need to have a passing certificate of the Class 10^th qualifying board exam from state board or national board 
• Students need to have overall 41% or grade C2 in the aggregate of all subjects and not less than 33% in any of the subject
• For commerce and Arts stream, students must have 41% or grade C2 in English subject
• For science stream, students must have 41% or grade C2 in the science subject

How to apply for JMI School Admissions 2018-19?

1. Visit the official website of JMI School admissions 2018-2019 or jmi.ac.in and click on Admissions tab in the left corner of the website
2. Click on ‘School Admissions’ and then, click on ‘Click here to apply for Admission in JMI school VI, IX and XI’
3. There you will be required to click on Application and guide to admissions
4. First, go through the instructions to apply for admissions  including eligibility criteria and other instructions
5. After this, you can proceed to apply as mentioned below –

Registration:  Click on ‘Register Yourself’ and enter the details like student name, Set password, valid and active e-mail id, mobile phone number and click on ‘sign up’

Once registered for JMI School Admissions, you can proceed to login with the registered email id and password to fill the application form.

Filling up the application form: You need to log in and fill all the details including basic details, academic details, entrance test details like the choice of exam centre and subject paper and after this, you need to upload documents as under –

• Recent passport size photograph,
• Signature of student and parent/guardian  

Payment and form submission:  

• The students need to pay application for JMI School Admission in online mode only
• For online mode, students can use ATM-cum-Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking methods.
• The application form for JMI School Admissions can be submitted in online mode only.
• However, students are advised to download and get a print copy of the submitted application form for future reference.

Exam Pattern of JMI School Admissions 2018

Exam Mode – Offline/Paper-based test

Test paper type – Multiple-choice based questions

Test duration – two hours

Timings – from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for Class 9^th, Class 11^th Science and Arts and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for Class 11^th Commerce stream

Marking Scheme – One mark for each question and no negative marking

Exam Centres – Delhi, Lucknow and Patna only
