BHU School Entrance Test 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Class 9^th Eligibility Criteria:

• The students must be passed in Class 8^th qualifying examination from a recognised School/University (schools running under Universities)
• The students must be between 13 to 15 years of age as on September 30, 2018

Class 11^th Eligibility Criteria:

• Students must not be more than 18 years of age as on September 30, 2018
• They must have qualified Class 10^th board examination from state/central board/university
• The students must have obtained required percentage as under –

For Science stream – Students must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate and also should have scored 50% marks in Mathematics and Science subjects separately.

For Commerce stream – Students must have scored overall 40% marks.

For Arts stream – Students must be passed in Class 10^th qualifying examination.

BHU School Entrance Test 2018 Application Process:

Students needed to apply online for BHU School Admissions 2018. They needed to visit the official website of BHU i.e. http://bhuonline.in to apply for admissions and the application form must be completed with all relevant details and should be submitted before the last date of application. 1. Registration – Click on new registration to go to BHU SET application window. And register with details such as name, e-mail id, and phone number to create User Id and password
2. Fill the application form – After registering, students can fill their personal details, educational details, class appearing for entrance test, stream and test centre details etc.
3. Upload Photograph and signature – Students need to upload scanned copies of their passport size coloured photograph and signature in JPEG format of 100KB file size.
4. Application fee payment– The fee for BHU SET 2018 can be paid either in online mode or in online mode. For online, students can use options like Debit Card or Credit Card or Net Banking. For offline, they can use HDFC Bank e-challan and deposit the fee in cash at any nearest HDFC branch.

Syllabus for class 9^th: The test paper of BHU SET 2018 for Class 9^th is based on 8^th class syllabus comprising 100 MCQs on subjects including English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science and General Science.

Syllabus for class 11^th (all streams): The test paper of BHU SET 2018 for class 11^th is based on class 10^th level syllabus comprising 100 MCQs and the subjects are as under:

• For Maths Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Gen. Studies.
• For Bio Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Gen. Studies.
• For Commerce & Arts Group: English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, General Maths and Gen. Studies.

When a student should start preparing for engineering/medical entrance exams?

BHU School Entrance Test Results 2018:

The result of BHU SET 2018 will be announced by June 10, 2018 in online mode only. The result will inform the students who have qualified for admissions to Class 9^th and Class 11^th (all streams). The admissions to these classes will be based on BHU SET 2018 result and the eligibility criteria. A merit list will be prepared for each class on basis of BHU SET 2018 result and students will be required to attend the counselling on basis of the merit list only.

Besides, eligibility criteria mentioned for each class and stream, students must have obtained at least 33% marks in BHU SET 2018.
