Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., (A Govt. of Meghalaya Undertaking) invites applications for filling up the posts of Management Trainees in Kitchen Operations, House Keeping, Food & Beverages and Front Office for a period of 01 (one) year. Subject to successful completion of training period the candidates are likely to be absorbed in the regular vacancies of Supervisors. Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., was created under the patronage of the Government of Meghalaya. The main objective was to promote tourism in the state and to expand the infrastructure facilities for the tourists.

Educational Qualification
The candidate should possess 3 years Regular Course of Graduation in Hotel Management from recognized University/ NationaI Council/ State Board of Technical Education.
Age Limit & Relaxation
The upper age limit is 27 years. Relaxation of age as admissible would be applicable,
Remuneration/ Pay Scale
Consolidated Remuneration is of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) only Per Month for a period of 01 (One) year.
Fee Payable
• Fee payble for General Category candidates is Rs. 50/-.
• Fee payble for SC/ ST/ OBC and Other Categories candidates is Rs. 25/-.
• A fee will have to be remitted by Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque payable to Managing Director, Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., Shillong.
General Instructions
• Applicants should submit their Bio-data/ Resume along with copies of requisite credentials/ certificates relating to eligibility, experience in handling the relative spheres of work etc.
• Candidate has to submit two copies of recent passport size photographs.
• A Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque for Fee, payable to Manslging Director, Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., Shillong along with application.
• Selection of candidate will be made on the basis of Written Test, Trade Test followed by Personal interview.
• No traveling allowance will be paid for appearing in Written Test/ Interview.
• After successful completion of Training the candidates likely to be absorbed in the regular vacancies Supervisors in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14,100 – 350 – 16,550 – EB – 460 – 20,690 – 620 – 27510.

Selection Procedure
