Eligibility Criteria for SRF, JRF & Other Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Microbiologist: MD (Microbiologist) or MSc in Life Science with PhD
- Project Assistant/ Research Assistant: Graduate in Science/ Biology with 01 year DMLT course or 03 years Diploma in engineering or Graduate with 01 year relevant experience in the lower grade or one year field/ lab experience.
- Project Technician-III/ Lab Technician: 12th pass with Science subjects with two years DMLT and one year experience OR 12th pass in science subjects with one year DMLT and 01 year laboratory experience as Technician B or 02 years field/ laboratory experience or Animal House Keeping in Govt recognized organization.
- Laboratory Attendant: 10th pass
- Lab Technician: BSc (Microbiology) or BSc (MLT) or DMLT or equivalent with 03 year experience in culture and DST.
- Senior Research Fellow (medical): MBBS/ BDS/ MVSc/ MPharm/ ME/ MTech degree holders
- Senior Research Fellow: MSc in any branch of Life Science with 02 years of experience or MBBS/ BDS/ MVSc/ MPharm/ ME/ MTech degree holders
- Field Assistant: 10th pass
- Junior Research Fellow: MSc degree in Life Sciences and must have qualified UGC/ CSIR or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test
Age Limit for SRF, JRF & Other Posts
- Microbiologist: 40 years
- Project Assistant/ Research Assistant, Project Technician-III/ Lab Technician, Laboratory Attendant: 30 years
- Lab Technician, Senior Research Fellow (medical), Senior Research Fellow, Field Assistant: 35 years
- Junior Research Fellow: 28 years
