RPSC is the civil services examination conducting body in Rajasthan. It is the government organisation that conducts the examination to recruit eligible candidates for state services in Rajasthan. Eligible Criteria for RAS
The minimum educational qualification required for the RPSC RAS examination is a graduation degree from any recognised university. Other than the required educational qualification, the candidate should be a minimum of 21 years old; the maximum age for unreserved category candidates is 40 years. RAS Syllabus and Exam Pattern
RPSC conducts the RAS examination in pen and paper mode. The candidates must check the latest syllabus of RPSC RAS as well as the RPSC RAS Exam Pattern. The latest syllabus is divided into subjects such as General Knowledge and General Science, where the questions will be asked from Literature, Tradition, Culture, Art, History and Heritage of Rajasthan, Indian History—Ancient, Mediaeval, and Modern, Geography—Indian and World Geography, Indian Political System, Constitution and Governance, etc. The selection procedure of RPSC RAS is listed below.
Prelims Exam: The preliminary syllabus covers general knowledge, current affairs, and logical reasoning. Subjects like Indian history, politics, geography, and economics are important from exam point of view.
Mains: The Mains syllabus dives deeper into topics such as advanced general studies, public administration, social justice, and Rajasthan-specific subjects.
Interview: The selected candidates of the main examination will be called for the interview, which will carry 100 marks of total score.
