Alphabet Test
In this concept, the questions based on Alphabets are asked in question paper. In order to understand the topic, the various rules should be kept in mind:
1. We know that there are 26 letters in the English Alphabets but to solve the questions, we should have knowledge of the number position of letters in the alphabet.
Remember the word FLRX. Its number position in the alphabet is 6, 12, 18, and 24, which is at an interval of 6.
If the position of the letter O is asked. You know that the letter O is between L (12) and R (18). You can easily find the position of L, either by adding 3 in position of L or subtracting 3 from position of R. 3 is added in the position of L because O is third letter after L or 3 is subtracted from the position of R because O is third letter, before R.

The left hand side of the English alphabet is supposed from the English alphabet is supposed from the English alphabet begins i.e. from ‘A’ or the letter which begin at your left hand.

The right hand of English alphabet begins at your right hand of from the last letter of the alphabet i.e. ‘Z’.
4. In order to know the position of a letter to the same direction i.e. from the left to the left or from the right to right we subtract the number position of one from another.
Example: If the first and sixth letter in the word ‘COMPROMISE’ were interchanged, also second and seventh letter are interchanges and so on, which letter will be seventh letter from the right?
