- Arrive at the exam centre mentioned on your admit card at least 60 minutes before the exam starts to avoid last-minute delays and complete the verification process on time. Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.
- Carrying the SSC CGL Admit Card 2024 is mandatory to enter the exam centre. In addition, you must bring at least two recent passport-size colour photographs and an original valid photo ID proof showing your date of birth, as printed on the admit card. Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar Card/ E-Aadhaar, Voter’s ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, University/ College/ School ID, Employer ID (Govt./ PSU), Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book, and other government-issued photo IDs. Failure to carry these documents will result in disqualification.
- Mobile phones, pagers, books, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates found with any of these items will be disqualified. Assisting other candidates will also lead to disqualification.
- If your Photo ID does not display your date of birth, you must bring an additional original document (e.g., Matriculation Certificate, Marks Sheet, Birth Certificate, or Category Certificate) as proof. A mismatch between the date of birth on the admit card and the supporting ID will result in disqualification.
- Unfair practices, such as copying from unauthorized sources, are strictly forbidden. Candidates cannot leave the exam hall until the exam concludes. Leaving without permission will result in cancellation of the candidature.
SSC CGL Admit Card 2024
The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Admit Card 2024 for all the regions on its official website. Candidates can access the admit card using the correct login credentials such as registration number or roll number on the official portal, ssc.gov.in. It is mandatory to bring the SSC CGL 2024 Admit Card along with two passport-size recent colour photographs and an original valid photo ID to the exam centre.
SSC CGL Shift Timings

SSC CGL Marking Scheme
- The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is divided into four subjects such as General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
- Each subject comprises 25 questions for 50 marks, which means each question carry 2 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, there shall be a deduction of 0.50 marks as the negative marking.
