SSC has revised the result of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2018 Online Exam after taking into account few discrepancies in the Question Items/ final answer keys of some questions. SSC reviewed the Question Items/ Final Answer Keys of questions with discrepancies and revised the final answer keys of 13 questions. Details of the shifts having revision in the final Answer Keys are as follows:

Resolution of Tie Cases
In the event of a tie in the normalized marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is resolved:
(a) Total marks in Computer Based Examination.
(b) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
(c) Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
(d) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(e) Alphabetical order of names (starting with first name)
Call letters to the candidates, who have now been qualified (Additionally Qualified) for PET/ PST, will be uploaded by the Nodal CAPF i.e. CRPF on their website http://crpf.gov.in and http://crpf.nic.in

Phase-II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
SSC GD Constable 2018-19 Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) commenced from 13th August to 25th August 2019. CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) conducted the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) at various centres across India. The admit cards for SSC GD Constable 2018-19 Physical Tests was released at the official website of CRPF (gdconst.crpfexam.in).

Phase-III: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the pool of candidates who qualify PET/ PST. The purpose of medical examination is to ensure that medically fit candidates are accepted into the CAPFs.
Final result along with force allocation will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination. Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Detailed Medical Examination will be of qualifying nature. Candidates can check the result from the direct link to official SSC CGL website as and when the results are announced.

Final Selection SSC GD Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF or GD Rifleman in Assam Rifles
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the three phases of SSC GD Constable Exam, i.e., Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Therefore, one cannot get selected for the post of GD Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF or GD Rifleman in Assam Rifles, if the candidate is not physically and medically fit. So, it is advisable for the candidates to keep themselves physically and mentally fit through physical exercises to clear the physical and medical tests.
