Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Recruitment 2017 Jobs Notification: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invited applications for 65 openings of Assistant Commissioners, Stores Officers and Others . The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 13 April 2017.
For the post of Assistant Commissioner (Natural Resources Management/Rainfed Farming System) an applicant must possess Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Botany or Forestry or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. An applicant must hold Experience of Three years in the field of soil and water conservation or rain fed or integrated farming and soil survey or problem soil reclamation and or project formulation including agro-forestry projects in Central or State Government departments or Union territory Administrations or recognized research institution or councils or agricultural university or public sector undertakings or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organization.
For the post of Scientific Officer (Microbiology) an applicant must possess M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology of a recognized university or institute recognized by the Government.
For the post of Stores Officers an applicant must possess Degree of a recognized university along with 03 years experience in a Government or semi-Government organisation or in a private concern of repute in indenting purchases maintenance of technical Stores or accounts.
For the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Gastroenterology) an applicant must possess A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Gastroenterology); or Doctorate of Medicine (Gastroenterology); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Gastroenterology.
For the posts of Assistant Labor Officers an applicant must possess (i)Degree in Commerce or Degree with Economics /Sociology/Social work as one of the subjects from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Law, Labour Relations, Labour Welfare, Labour Laws, Sociology, Commerce, Social work/Welfare, Business Administration, Personnel Management or any other allied subject relating to labour from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
For the post of Assistant Legal Counsel (Telugu) (i) Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government; and (ii) Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of five years. Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for five years; Or Should have been a Central Government Servant who has had experience in Legal Affairs for five years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practised as such for five years; Or Should have been a teacher of Law for five years in a recognized Institution; Or Should have five years’ experience of translation into Telugu Language of statutes, statutory rules and orders in the Central Government or State Government along with other relevant educational requirements.
