   The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in logistics and infrastructure development. The partnership aims to leverage KOTI's expertise to support India's infrastructure goals.

   Recently, Maimun Alam, a 2007 batch IRS officer, has been appointed as the Director in the Ministry of Steel. This appointment, effective from February 7, 2025, was made under the Central Staffing Scheme.
