Google on 15 December 2014 released its annual Year in Search (YIS) Report 2014 revealing the search habits of Google users worldwide over the last 12 months.
The list is based on year-versus-year search trends, it is about how popular a topic is this year versus the last year.
Year In Search is a worldwide look at the top trending searches for the year. The review reflects what the world was searching for this year which includes a wide variety of queries within many different categories: health, pop culture, sports, entertainment, politics and more.
