Google revealed Nexus 7 Tablet, Latest Android and Google Glasses

Google released Nexus 7 Tablet on 27 June 2012 at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco, US to compete with Microsoft Surface and Apple iPad. The Nexus 7 is developed with Asus. Asus is a Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company.

The Nexus 7 has 7 inches or 17.8 cm screen. It is portable and lighter than Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. Amazon Kindle Fire tablet has 10 inches or 25 cm screen and heavier in weight. Nexus 7 is 340 grams in weight with Nvidia Tegra quad core processor and front facing camera. It has the battery life up to 9 hours, video play on its 1280X800 pixel screen. It has Google Crome programme set as default for surfing the web.

The Nexus 7 costs 199 dollar. It is sold from Google’s online store, Google Play. The delivery would likely to begin form mid of July in the US, Britain, Canada and Australia.


Google Android Introduced

Google had also introduced the latest version of Android or Jelly Bean. The latest version was improved in the features like touch, search, notifications and Google Maps. It also introduced Android- Nexus Q for wireless streaming, films, music from Google Play to television or speakers. It was designed to compete with Apple TV and other entertainment hubs. Google had also offered films for sale and digital magazines from Hearst, Conde Nast.


Google Glasses

Google Glasses is computerized eyeglasses announced by Sergey Brin, Google co-founder on 26 June 2012. It would be available by pre-ordering. Google glasses are mini computers in the shape of eyeglasses. It has tiny projector fixed above the user’s eye. These glasses give an advantage athlete who wants to take pictures of their regular activities.
