KNR Constructions bagged the Tollway Road Project on 5 August 2012. The Company has to build, operate and Transfer (BOT) mode tollway road project from National Highway Authority of India situated in Kerala. National Highway Authority granted concession worth Rs 264.6 crore. The order involves the four-laning of the Walayar-Vadakkancherry section situated in Kerala on National Highway 47 between 182 km to 240 km.
This Project was handed over to KNR Constructions under the National Highway Development Programme–II. It has a concession Period for 20 years. It includes the construction phase of 910 days from the appointed date.
KNR Constructions is a Hyderabad-based infrastructure company. In the month of July, this company had joint-venture with SLMI Infra Projects.
SLMI Infra Projects get the road development project by Hyderabad Growth Corridor Ltd worth Rs 49.25 crore. The radial road project was executed with the loan assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
