New Zealand cricket team won Chappell-Hadlee Trophy

This win of the Black Caps can be termed as the best farewell gift for Brendon McCullum who retired from One-Day International (ODI) cricket after the match.

New Zealand on 8 February 2016 won the three-match Chappell-Hadlee Trophy of cricket against Australia, 2-1. In the third and final match played at Seddon Park, Hamilton, the Black Caps defeated Australia by 55 runs.

This win of the Black Caps can be termed as the best farewell gift for Brendon McCullum who retired from One-Day International (ODI) cricket after the match. They also retained the Chappell-Hadlee trophy by putting tremendous bowling and fielding display.

1st Match: Played at Eden Park, Auckland on 3 February 2016. New Zealand won by 159 runs. Martin Guptill (New Zealand) was declared the Player of the Match.

2nd Match: Played at Westpac Stadium, Wellington on 6 February 2016. Australia won by 4 wickets with 21 balls remaining. Mitchell Marsh (Australia) was declared the Player of the Match. Adam Zampa (Australia) played his ODI debut match on the day.

3rd Match: Played at Seddon Park, Hamilton on 8 February 2016. New Zealand won by 55 runs. Inderbir Singh Sodhi (New Zealand) was declared the Player of the Match.
