As the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana's third phase draws closer, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on November 13th suggested that recipients link their mobile phone numbers to a single bank account rather than several.

The third phase of the first installment under Subhdra Yojana will be credited on November 24. The money from the last two phases was released on September 17th and October 9th.

2.67 Lakh Women Beneficiaries Rejected

According to the Deputy Chief Minister, around 5 lakh women have not yet received benefits because of inconsistencies in the connection between their Aadhaar card, bank account, and mobile number.

The list of 2.67 lakh women who were turned down has been distributed to each block. Approximately 5 lakh women have been denied the Subhadra benefit because their Aadhaar cards and bank accounts are not linked. Numerous people have connected a single number to multiple bank accounts," the Deputy CM noted.
