SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2023

SSC Junior Hindi Translator exam pattern 2023 is prescribed by the SSC along with the notification. As per the SSC JHT notification, the SSC JHT exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2023 for Paper 1

The candidates who apply succesfully for the SSC JHT exam 2023 will be eligble to appear for the SSC JHT Paper 1 exam. The SSC JHT Paper 1 consists of two papers, General Hindi and General English. Each paper is for 100 marks carrying 100 questions. The exam duration for both papers together is 2 Hours and shall be held in online mode. The exam will have only objective questions. SSC JHT Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates who qualify SSC JHT exam paper 1 will be called to appear for Paper 2. The SSC JHT Paper 2 is a descriptive test where the candidates will be required to do traslation and write an essay. This paper is for 200 marks in total for a duration of 2 Hours.

The SSC JHT paper 2 will consist of:

• Two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi
• An Essay each in Hindi and English

Therefore, topics covered in Translation and Essay Exam will be:

• Paragraph Translation from Hindi to English
• Paragraph Translation from English to Hindi
• Essay in English
• Essay in Hindi

SSC JHT Final Selection

The final selection for SSC JHT exam 2023 shall be done on the basis of the candidates' performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Th4e candidates allocation will be done depending on the merit rank and the option excersied by them.
