Saud Shakeel is a Pakistani international cricketer who is the current vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in test cricket. Currently, he has received congratulatory messages from Babar Azam, a right-hand, top-order batsman, for his remarkable performance against Bangladesh in the recent test series at Rawalpindi.
This Pakistani star batter and Saim Ayub's half-centuries helped Pakistan recover on the first day of the first Test in Rawalpindi, which was shortened but still exciting. Even though only 41 overs were bowled, Bangladesh started strong, reducing Pakistan to 16/3, but the home team fought back to end the day at 158/4.
On the second day of the match, Shakeel reached a major milestone by scoring his third Test century, reinforcing his status as a vital player in Pakistan’s batting lineup. Day 1 ended with Pakistan at 158/4 after just 41 overs, with Shakeel not out on 57.
On Day 2, Shakeel expertly built on his half-century, converting it into a century, leaving Bangladesh’s bowlers struggling to contain him. He reached his century in the 78th over when he faced Miraz and pushed a flighted delivery outside off through the covers, running two to bring up his hundred.
