CBSE 12th Result 2020 Declared Live Updates: Today at 12 PM in the afternoon, CBSE Board formally declared the CBSE 12th Result 2020 for Senior Secondary Students. The surprise announcement of CBSE Class 12 Results truly came as a surprise to students, parents and other stakeholders, including teachers and even school principals. However, following the declaration, the official Result portal of CBSE i.e. cbseresults.nic.in, crashed for nearly 4 hours due to technical problems and difficulties due to surge in traffic. However, latest update suggest that CBSE Board seems to have sorted out the issue and added a secondary server link to enable students to check their results via cbseresults.nic.in. Alternatively, students can also opt to check CBSE Class 12 Results 2020 online via DigiLocker App, Umang App and through IVRS Telephone Line. CBSE Class 12 Result Declared Live Update @ 6:00 PM: Increase in Number of Students Scoring above 90%

Going by the data shared by the CBSE Board so far, there has been a sharp increase in the total number of students securing 90% and above marks in the CBSE 12th Result 2020 announced today. In total around 1,57,934 have secured above 90% marks in the results which were declared at 12 PM; this amounts to 13.24% of the total number of this as compared to  7.82 per cent in 2019. On similar lines, the percentage of students scoring above 95% marks has also grown to 38,686 from 1.47% to 3.24%.

Going by the data shared by the CBSE Board, for the CBSE 12th Result 2020 announced today, the performance of government schools has improved significantly. Last year, the success ratio among government run CBSE schools across the country stood at 87.17% which has grown this year to 94.94%. Two Govt School Chains spread across the country i.e. Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, have also reported higher pass percentages of 98.62 per cent, 98.70 per cent respectively.

The Board has notified that the CBSE Class 12 results 2020 could not be released for 400 students. CBSE has stated in its official notification that the results of these students could not be computed even with alternative assessment strategy.

For exams scheduled to be conducted between 1st and 15th July 2020, CBSE will conduct an optional exam as and when conditions are conducive as assessed and decided by the Government of India. With the declaration of Class 12 Results for Senior Secondary students, the CBSE Board has also launched the post-result counselling facility for the students from today onwards. The tele-counselling service for the students will start from 13th July 2020 and continue until 27th July 2020. The post result counselling service will help students resolve any queries with regards to the Class 12 Results declared today and also address the common psychological issues and general queries of the students and parents. The board will conduct the counselling of students with help of over 95 volunteer principals and trained counsellors from within affiliated schools. Going by the data shared by the CBSE Board, girls have outshined boys yet again the CBSE 12th Result 2020 declared today. As per the data available right now, the overall pass percentage among girl students has been reported at 92.15% as compared to Boys, who have secured 86.19%. As per the data released by the CBSE Board following the formal declaration of Class 12 Results, the overall pass percentage for Senior Secondary Exam has been reported at 88.78%. This marks an increase of 5.38% in the success ratio as compared to 2019’s figure of 83.40%.
