CBSE Date Sheet 2027: Class 10, 12 Board Exam Schedule Expected Release Date, Past Year Trends
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to conduct the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in February and March 2027. The CBSE Date Sheet 2027 is likely to be released in the coming weeks, based on the board’s date sheet release trends in previous years.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 board examination date sheet for the 2027 examinations soon. Students will be able to check and download the examination timetable for their respective Classes through the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in.
Among the other details released by the board regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC), CBSE has notified that the board examinations for the 2026-27 academic session will be conducted in February-March 2027.
The board is expected to release a tentative date sheet first, followed by the final date sheet.
When Will CBSE Release Class 10, 12 Board Exam Date Sheet 2027?
The CBSE will likely release the Class 10 and 12 board examination date sheet for the 2026-2027 term in the month of October, 2026. Last year, the board released the final date sheet on October 30, 2025, with a tentative schedule releasing earlier on September 24, 2025.
Therefore, students can expect the CBSE Date Sheet 2027 to be released in the coming weeks, likely in the last week of September or first week of October, 2026.
CBSE Date Sheet 2027: Past Year Trends
The CBSE released the date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 board examination for the past years on the following dates:
- 2026 Exams: October 30, 2025; tentative schedule released on September 24, 2025
- 2025 Exams: November 20, 2024
- 2024 Exams: December 12, 2023
- 2023 Exams: December 29, 2022
- 2022 Exams: October 18, 2021 for Term 1 and March 11, 2022 for Term 2
The 2022 board examinations were conducted in two terms as part of the assessment arrangement introduced during the COVID-19 period.

- Then, click on “CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet For Class 10, 12.”
- The PDF will be downloaded.
- Save it for future reference.
CBSE Sample Papers 2027
The board has recently released the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes for the 2027 board examinations. Students can access the Class 10 and 12 sample papers through the official CBSE Academic website — cbseacademic.nic.in.
The sample papers will help students understand the question paper pattern, marking scheme and types of questions expected in the upcoming board examinations.
LOC Submission To Begin Soon
CBSE has asked schools to stay ready with the List of Candidates (LOC), which is required for the 2027 board examination registration process.
For the LOC, schools have to submit and verify key details of candidates, including the student’s name, father’s, mother’s or guardian’s name, date of birth, subject code and subject combination as per the Scheme of Studies. Schools have been instructed to check these details carefully to avoid errors in examination records.
Schools also have to provide the category under which a candidate is appearing, including Full Subjects (FS), Improvement (I) or Compartment, wherever applicable.
Schools may also submit each student’s APAAR ID as part of the process.
For Class 10, the LOC for the second board examination will be submitted separately after the completion of the first board examination, as per the board’s instructions.
