IIT Bombay Ask a Question Initiative: IIT Bombay has launched a unique initiative under the banner of ‘Ask a Question’. As part of this initiative, the premier technology institute of India has launched a website, giving a digital platform to Engineering and Science students to raise their queries and doubts about scientific concepts. Following this, an expert panel consisting of IIT Bombay faculty members will answer the queries and thereby resolve the conceptual doubts and thought process of the students.
Live Interactive Sessions Every Week
As part of the Ask a Question initiative, IIT Bombay will also hold live interactive sessions for students every week on the website. All the queries and questions asked by the students will be answered by an expert from IIT Bombay, which will in-turn lead to better conceptual clarity among the students. As per the official notification, through IIT Bombay’s ‘Ask a Question’ initiative, faculty members would answer questions related to Electrical Engineering domain every Thursday from 4 PM to 5 PM. Similarly, questions related to Physics will be answered by IIT Bombay experts on every Friday from 4 PM to 5 PM.
Topics for upcoming Ask a Question Session
The upcoming Ask a Question session will be held on 31st October 2019 for Electrical Engineering and on 1st November 2019 for Physics subjects. The faculty members have outlined the following topics for the upcoming Ask a Question session for both subjects:

As per the details shared by the institute, Ask a Question initiative has held 410 QnA sessions for Electrical Engineering domain so far. Similarly for Physics subject, the number of Ask a Question sessions held stand at 250.

In related news, IIT Bombay secured the top spot in the recently announced QS India University Rankings 2020. This was the second time that IIT Bombay secured the top spot in Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) India specific ranking framework for higher education institutions. IIT-B was closely followed by IISc Bengaluru, which secured the 2nd position.
