JEE Mains 2024 LIVE: JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 January 27 Shift 1 Concludes, Shift 2 at 3 pm

The JEE Main session 1 paper 1 Btech and BE the first exam was held today January 27, 2024. The first shift of the exam concluded at 12 pm. Students were required to answer questions from the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections. According to the candidates' initial responses, the exams were easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. Mathematics was the easier section with a few tricky numerical questions. The Physics paper met the expectations of the students although a mixed response regarding this was given. Students have mentioned that Chemistry is where they expect to score more marks.

The second shift of the JEE Main BTech/ BE Exam will begin at 3 pm. The exam will be held fro 3 hours and will conclude at 6 pm. Candidates appearing for the second shift of the JEE Main exam are required to report to the exam centre at 2 pm for identification and verification purposes. 

the first shift of the JEE Main Btech BE Exams have concluded at 12:30 pm. According to students who appeared for the first shift, the exam was easy to moderate. 

The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Paper 1 BTech/ BE exams begin. The first shift has commenced at 9 am. The exams will conclude at 12 noon. 

The JEE Main 2024 session 1 paper 1 exam is held in two shifts. The shift details are given below.

Shift 1 - 9 am to 12 noon

Shift 2 - 3 pm to 6 pm

The National Testing Agency will be conducting the JEE Mains 2024 BTech/BE Exams from today, January 27, 2024. The exams will be held on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024. All those appearing for the exams must make sure to download their admit cards. 

The JEE Mains 2023 Session 1 exam centre name and address will be mentioned on the JEE Main hall ticket. When downloading the hall ticket students must make sure that they have been assigned the exam centre and are also advised to make necessary travel arrangements for their exam day and shift. 

The JEE Main 2024 session 1 BTech and BE Exams begin at 9 am today, January 27, 2024. While the reporting time for students appearing in the first shift is 8 am the reporting time for the JEE Main 2024 second shift 1 2 pm.

The JEE Mains 2024 exam will be held online. Candidates have been provided with a list of items to carry with them to the exam centre which are 

• JEE Mains 2024 admit card
• Valid id proof
• Passport size photograph

• Students are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exams
• Students must make sure that they report to the centre only for the shift allotted as per the admit card
• Candidates reaching the exam centre 15 minutes later to the commencement of the exam will not be allowed to enter.
• Those allotted centre far away are advised to make travel arrangements to reach the previous day itself so as to not miss the exam
• Students will not be allowed to leave the centre without finishing the exam

The admit card for the BTech and BE January 27th examination is now available on the official website - jeemain.nta.ac.in. To download the JEE Main admit card students are required to visit the official website and login using the application number and date of birth. 

The JEE Main BTech and BE Examination will be conducted from January 27 to February 1, 2024. The exams will be held in two sessions. As per the schedule, the first shift will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and the second Shift will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

• Candidates must enter the required details in the Attendance Sheet in legible handwriting, put their signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression, and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place. 
• Candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions (Annexure1) and General Instructions (Annexure-2) mentioned in the Question paper.
• The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted subject/medium indicated in the Admit Card. 
• In case, the subject/medium of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject/medium, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned.

• You should visit the Examination Centre, in advance and familiarize yourself with the location and means of reaching the venue of the Test on time.

• Candidates must enter the required details in the Attendance Sheet in legible handwriting, put their signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression, and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged.

• The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions (Annexure1) and General Instructions (Annexure-2) mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same

• The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted subject/medium indicated in the Admit Card. In case, the subject/medium of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject/medium, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned.

• Duly filled-in Admit Card must be dropped in the designated DropBox while leaving the Examination Hall/Room. Failures to do so may result in a non-evaluation of your answers.

• Blank paper sheets for rough work of A4 size will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. 

• Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top of each of the sheets and must drop the sheet/s in the designated drop box without fail, before leaving the Examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in a non-evaluation of your answers. 

• Apart from the biometric attendance and frisking at entry, candidates will be frisked and biometric attendance will be taken again on entry from bio-break/toilets break.

• Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges) and transparent water bottles to the Examination Hall

For the Drawing Test—Part III of B.Arch., the candidate must bring their own Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers, and Colour Pencils or Crayons. The Candidates are not allowed to use water-colours on the drawing sheet.
