Noida Schools Closed: Schools in Noida, UP will be closed for students from Nursery to Class 12. The holiday has been announced for two days due to extreme cold weather conditions in the region. The Gautam Buddha Nagar Administration ordered the closing of schools for two days as per media reports.
All schools in Noida and Greater Noida will remain closed on December 29 and 30, 2023, amidst cold weather. The staff members and teachers will however be required to continue to work on these days as per the order issued by the Basic Education Officer.
According to the order issued by the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Maneesh Kumar Verma, considering the dense fog and extremely cold weather conditions all the schools affiliated to various boards, recognized schools, government-aided and non-government aided schools will be closed on December 29 and 30, 2023.
The order issued applies to students from Nursery level to class 12. Students and parents are advised to take note of the holiday issued.
Similarly, considering the hard weather conditions, the timings of all the schools from class 1 to 8 in the Mathura region have been changed. Classes will now be conducted from 10 am to 3 pm.
The weather department has predicted fog in most parts of the state. Schools in the northern states like Jharkhand, UP, Delhi, Punjab, etc have been given winter vacation owing to the cold weather and cold wave experienced.
